The Assistant Academic Advisor will work with assigned teams at the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes (CCACSA), and will help provide the support necessary to assist student-athletes in reaching their full potential. The Assistant Academic Advisor will work in conjunction with the CCACSA team to develop academic plans and strategies by communicating and documenting student-athletes’ progress and implementing appropriate educational services. The Assistant Academic Advisor will support the CCACSA advising staff in the daily operations of the Academic Center and must be willing to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends. Additional responsibilities and other administrative duties will be assigned as needed. All employees are expected to comply with all CCACSA, LSU, SEC, and NCAA rules and regulations. This position will report to the Assistant Director within Academic Affairs. The Assistant Academic Advisor position is a part-time appointment for a period from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The position will be paid a competitive hourly rate (based on degree attainment) for time worked, up to 29 hours per week.

Master's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions
