Job Summary: This position supports the College of Business' oversight and management of DOTD-related financial activity by ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and coordination of funds. The role exists to maintain visibility into DOTD operations, strengthen data reliability, and support informed decision-making within CARTS. Through ongoing process improvement and collaboration with key stakeholders, the position helps ensure DOTD funds are managed efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with institutional standards.
Job Responsibilities:
40% - Download and analyze financial reports weekly from Workday to update and maintain internal tracking files for DOTD accounts.
25% - Monitor and track contractor payments from invoice receipt through final payment, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing. Conduct multiple weekly reviews within the Workday system to monitor payment status and proactively notify consultants and their supervisors regarding monthly payment updates.
15% - Collaborate with manager to improve and standardize processes for tracking and managing DOTD data, with a focus on increasing efficiency and reliability following recent role transitions.
10% - Prepare and provide DOTD-related data for inclusion in CARTS agendas, supporting monthly financial and operational meetings.
10% - Perform ad hoc DOTD-related analyses, reporting, and other tasks as needed by manager or any other member of CARTS.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, ISDS or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications:
Education Level: Master's degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, ISDS or equivalent)
