Job Summary: The V&V Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering software V&V programs within defined scope, cost, and schedule constraints. This role ensures alignment with Cubic V&V Organisation business objectives, manages cross-functional teams, and drives Agile practices to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Program Planning & Execution
- Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain integrated V&V program plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and control V&V program progress to ensure adherence to scope, cost, and schedule.
Cost & Budget Management
- Prepare and manage V&V program budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure financial compliance.
Schedule Management
- Create detailed schedules and track progress against baseline plans.
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays.
Agile Leadership
- Champion Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) across teams.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Ensure continuous improvement and delivery of incremental value.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for program status, risks, and issues.
- Prepare and present executive-level reports and dashboards.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify, assess, and manage program risks and dependencies.
- Drive resolution of issues impacting scope, cost, or schedule.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or PMP Certification
- 8+ years of experience in software program/project management.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and tools (JIRA, Rally, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale software programs with complex dependencies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
