Risk Solutions Group (RSG) are part of SCIB’s Markets division, situated on the Private Side and providing cross-asset market risk management solutions to corporations and financial sponsors. The product range primarily includes derivative-based hedging solutions covering rates, inflation, FX, carbon as well as liquidity and structured deposits. This opportunity relates to the FX products provided to Private Capital funds (PE, Infra, Credit).

The Structured Credit Financing desk manages financing transactions that are either structured, non-standard in nature or where the collateral is not liquid. The desk manages client transactions in various formats including Derivatives (e.g. Total Return Swap), Repo, Security lending and non-recourse securitisation financings. The desk hedges the risk of such transactions using market instruments including credit default swaps, interest and cross currency swaps.

This role sits within a growing product line within CIB, offering you exposure to both portfolio analytics and front-office interactions.

The difference you’ll make:

  • Supporting global portfolio monitoring and analytics for Fund Level Hedging and Asset Backed Lending business lines, with a focus on data-driven insights and risk visibility

  • Reviewing and analysing quarterly financial statements

  • Ensuring counterparty compliance with documentation protections by monitoring covenant and termination events

  • Assisting with the development of portfolio reporting infrastructure, including aggregation of multi-source data and preparation of dashboards and analytics for internal stakeholders including Risk

  • Partnering with Front Office, Risk, and client-side portfolio teams across Europe, UK, and US

  • Participating in client interactions and supporting the delivery of portfolio insights

The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for success in this role.

  • Previous experience in a Markets or Fund Finance related role

  • Demonstrable experience of Financial Statement and covenant monitoring and analysis

  • Proven experience of handling, analysing and interpreting large datasets and producing clear outputs for internal and external stakeholders

  • Advanced Excel skills - data manipulation, modelling, reporting

  • Ability to take ownership of processes and proactively identify improvements and efficiencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Willingness to complete CISI Regulatory, Securities and Derivatives Modules if required

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Experience working with private markets (PE, Credit, Structured Credit, Infra)

  • Knowledge of relevant legal documentation (ISDA, loan documentation, etc.)

  • Other linguistic capabilities including spoken and written Spanish or Portuguese

  • Ability to code in Python or other languages
