We are currently seeking a VP, Tax Reporting to join our Tax team based in our New York, NY office.

  • Update and Maintain Tax Policies  
  • Deal Documents - Review and Comment  
  • Return to Accrual and True-Up Calculations / Memo  
  • Quarterly Review & Annual Walk through of Tax Controls (IA and External Auditors)  
  • Update Tax Controls/Memos/Flowcharts for SOX404 & Internal Audit  
  • Tax Department Budget, LTP and Capital  
  • Due Diligence 
  • Taxable Income Forecast  
  • Update Controls and Checklists  
  • Memos to Support Audit Sign Off on Tax Positions  
  • Monitor Law Changes and Interpretations

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in ASC 740 and financial reporting, tax planning, and compliance

  • Knowledge of all aspects of accounting for income taxes  
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills necessary to communicate complex matters to diverse audiences   
  • Key Experiences/Achievements   
  • 8 to 15 years + of corporate and public accounting international tax experience  
  • 5 to 10 years + of experience in managing tax professionals  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting  
  • Licensed CPA or Law Degree  
  • Master’s Degree in Taxation, preferred   
  • Exposure to IP related tax issues a plus  
  • Familiarity with international taxation  
  • Experience in the Media and Entertainment a plus  
  • Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel and Power Point proficiency  

The base compensation for this position is $175,000 to $215,000 commensurate with experience.
