IMG’s Strategy & Growth team helps shape the direction and growth of our business globally — combining strategic insight, commercial focus, and executional discipline to drive both client growth and agency growth.
This role will serve as the team’s senior presence in APAC, leading regional strategy and consulting projects while working closely with our Commercial, Sports Management, and Business Development teams to unlock opportunities across the region. It’s a mix of strategic thinking, hands-on delivery, and collaborative leadership — shaping how IMG grows with and for its clients.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Develop and deliver growth strategies for key clients / customers and markets across APAC, working in close partnership with global colleagues.
Manage complex, cross-functional projects from concept through implementation — ensuring clear priorities, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
Collaborate closely with the leadership of the global Strategy & Growth team to drive the team’s overall direction, capabilities, and culture.
Draw on project support and analytical resources from the Strategy & Growth team in London / USA to deliver regional and global initiatives effectively.
Bridge the Strategy & Growth team with Commercial, Sports Management, and Business Development colleagues to align regional priorities and unlock opportunities for clients, customers and rights holders.
Contribute to pitch strategy and client engagement across consulting, advisory, and media rights opportunities.
Integrate IMG’s expertise across digital, data, streaming, production, and commercial delivery into cohesive client solutions.
Provide guidance and mentorship to regional project teams and act as the primary Strategy & Growth representative in APAC.
Establish success metrics, evaluate performance, and translate insights into actionable learnings that drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
Significant experience in strategy consulting or an in-house strategy / commercial role within sport, media, or entertainment.
Proven record leading cross-functional projects and managing senior stakeholders.
Strong commercial acumen — able to link strategy to impact for both clients and the agency.
Confident operating independently, setting direction, and making decisions in a regional context while staying closely connected to global leadership.
Comfortable with regular travel across APAC to support clients, projects, and internal collaboration.
Deep understanding of how digital, streaming, and marketing drive audience and revenue growth.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across cultures and seniority levels.
