Signify Health, a CVS Health company, is seeking a dynamic and visionary executive to serve as VP, Strategic Initiatives. This leader will be responsible for shaping and driving Signify’s strategic direction, identifying growth opportunities (both organic and inorganic), and fostering innovation across a complex and rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. The role requires an enterprise perspective to anticipate change and drive successful execution of key initiatives. VP, Strategic Initiatives will report directly to the President, Signify Health and act as a member of Signify’s executive leadership team.
Market Intelligence
Act as the primary source for market and regulatory intelligence ("tip of the spear"), bringing critical insights on evolving product and market landscape(s) and enterprise activity to Signify’s executive leadership team (ELT) and other stakeholders.
Develop and execute insight-rich strategic assessments and analyses (annual and ad-hoc) across industry, market dynamics, competitors, and consumers for enterprise and product-level support.
Define and shape the entity-level strategy through corporate planning and annual strategic initiatives.
In partnership with Government Affairs, translate complex policy developments into business implications, strategic positioning, and advocacy priorities for the organization.
Opportunity Ideation & Vetting
Lead the identification and capitalization of early-stage industry trends, translating market insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess opportunities, develop strategic positions, and build robust business cases aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and long-range business plans, including cross-CVS Health enterprise initiatives.
Drive the evaluation and piloting of next-generation products, services, and capabilities, utilizing disciplined experimentation and a "fail-fast" / lean startup approach to validate and refine solutions for market readiness and accelerated revenue growth.
Conceptualize and champion strategic initiatives that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to unlock new opportunities and / or enhance existing offerings.
Serve as the primary liaison for CVS Health Ventures and Enterprise Strategy.
Business Consulting
Partner closely with Signify’s ELT to facilitate decision-making, navigate cross-functional trade-offs, and synthesize conflicting incentives into clear enterprise recommendations.
Act as a strategic advisor to Signify’s ELT regarding new growth initiatives, providing high-quality analysis, regular updates, insights, and data-driven recommendations.
Own and lead short-term strategic projects commissioned by business leaders, acting as an internal business consultant.

Required Qualifications
12–15 years of healthcare industry experience, demonstrating excellence in strategy and operations within a service-oriented business.
Proven ability to influence executives, operate in ambiguity, and define and scope new capabilities from scratch.
Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams by identifying, cultivating, and motivating top talent.
A record of success in facilitating and managing multiple high-visibility, high-impact strategic projects end-to-end.
Strong written and verbal communication, adept at influencing c-suite executives, and a highly collaborative mindset.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of behavioral economics and / or patient engagement strategies.
Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid state and federal regulations.
Deep expertise in home health, care delivery, and managed care; experience in a real-world clinical setting (e.g., outpatient clinic, hospital administration).
Advanced degree in public health and/or health management (e.g., MPH, MHA, MBA).
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$240,000-$340,000
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
