JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President of Solution Delivery is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of solution delivery across enGen platform, products and service, including affiliation implementations, new external customer implementations, and ongoing support for existing external customers. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Highmark, enGen, and the broader healthcare market, as well as exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of successful project execution. The VP of Solution Delivery will lead a diverse team, manage complex projects, and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive enGen's growth and success.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build a new team structure and implement AI & Technology Led Implementation and Delivery Solutions to reduce implementation time, cost and resources.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive solution delivery strategy aligned with Highmark's 2030 vision and enGen's growth objectives.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance on industry best practices for solution delivery, implementation, and customer support.
- Anticipate future challenges and proactively develop innovative solutions to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
Affiliation Implementation:
- Lead the implementation of enGen's Core Admin Platform for new affiliation partners, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with Highmark's strategic growth plans.
- Manage stakeholders at all levels, including internal Highmark management, staff, and external client executives.
- Oversee the execution of key transformational activities and ensure high-performing delivery of contracted services.
- Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks and opportunities, and coordinate financial, compliance, and legal matters between parties.
New External Customer Implementation:
- Lead the implementation of enGen solutions for new external customers, acting as a crucial link between the customer and all internal/external stakeholders.
- Provide expertise in the Solutions and Services space, ensuring successful alignment of teams, vendor partners, consultants, and customer expectations.
- Support enGen’s external growth pipeline by providing ongoing implementation support for new deals and expansions.
- Potentially build and manage an implementation team and an ecosystem of vendor partners to support enGen's solutions.
Existing External Customer Implementation:
- Oversee the management of projects and enhancements for existing external customers (e.g., MN, WY, ND).
- Ensure that all client-requested changes are effectively managed, delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
- Operate within the larger client account structure to maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to a diverse team of project managers, implementation specialists, and vendor partners.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the solution delivery team.
- Develop and manage team budgets, resources, and performance metrics.
Stakeholder Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior management and executive leadership at client organizations.
- Act as a trusted advisor and representative of the Highmark enterprise.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across various departments, including sales, marketing, product development, and technology.
EDUCATION
Required
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology)

EXPERIENCE
Minimum
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in solution delivery, implementation, or project management within the healthcare industry.
- Understanding of health plan operations, including claims processing, enrollment, billing, and customer service.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering results on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of the market and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and external partnerships.
Preferred
- Specific experience with core administrative platforms (e.g., enGen CAP, HealthEdge Facets, QNXT, HealthRules) and their implementation
- Specific experience with Clinical platforms (e.g., Predictal, JIVA, Guiding Care, Care Radius and their implementation

Pay Range Minimum:
$170,000.00
Pay Range Maximum:
$352,500.00
Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
