VP, Securities Based Lending (Hybrid - Flexible Options)

We are hiring, VP, Securities Based Lending. In this role you will be responsible for running our SBL business and play a leading role in crafting, driving, influencing, and designing strategies to support the growth of our business. You will lead and drive a global team of product management, technology and operations associates and be responsible for all aspects of our expanding business, delivering our next-generation, award-winning SBL platform. This includes onboarding new business and working closely with sales, business development, and marketing to ensure seamless alignment and execution.

As a key market expert, you will actively monitor competitive trends, evolving client needs, and regulatory developments within the Wealth Management and SBL industries. You will use these insights to shape a forward-looking vision, refine our value proposition, and identify high-impact opportunities that set us apart in the marketplace. In addition, you will establish and execute a strategic, growth-focused go-to-market approach—defining target segments, optimizing positioning, deepening partner engagement, and driving scalable, sustainable growth across regions.

Given the complexity of the role, you will need to be a strong developer of people, client- and market-centric, execution-oriented, and an exceptional communicator and influencer. You will nurture talent, develop and deliver our product roadmap, encourage staff mobility, and champion the growth of your people—all while producing extraordinary client service and satisfaction during periods of rapid expansion.

Over the past few years, Broadridge has enjoyed revenue growth across products and geographies, with a renewed focus on our Wealth Management and SBL Solutions. We are now looking to further accelerate this growth and modernize, transform, and future-proof our products, procedures, and organization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as a market expert—monitoring trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics to inform strategy, strengthen our positioning, and identify new growth opportunities across Wealth and SBL.
  • Establish and execute a clear, strategic, and growth-focused go-to-market approach in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development, ensuring alignment across segments and channels.
  • Expand and modernize our product offering while interfacing closely with Solutions, Sales, and Marketing to increase sales, Professional Services revenue, and brand awareness.
  • Drive thought leadership internally and externally, representing Broadridge in industry forums and supporting media and brand-building activities.
  • Implement investments to advance our products, leveraging emerging technologies and capabilities to transform our industry offering.
  • Deliver superior client service and experience while enabling clients to mitigate risk and achieve their strategic goals.
  • Lead efforts to modernize our people, tools, technology, products, and processes, ensuring scalability and innovation readiness.
  • Work with and influence our Global COEs to ensure product alignment, a growth mindset, and a consistent client service experience.
  • Drive execution excellence in delivering new products, scaling growth, establishing industry partnerships, and onboarding new business and services on time and on budget.
  • Oversee revenue and expense management planning and processes to support sustainable profitability.
  • Orchestrate change effectively and ensure alignment across a highly matrixed global organization.
  • Understand the complexities of multi-channel/vendor services business models and incorporate them into strategic planning.
  • Lead organizational development, nurturing talent, encouraging collaboration, and driving a culture of high performance and innovation.
  • Communicate with clarity and inspiration—using transparent, engaging, and modern communication methods to influence and align teams globally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master Degree preferred.
  • Visionary, versatile, highly skilled individual on executive leadership path.
  • Minimum 10 plus years’ experience leading a large diverse and global team.
  • Financial Services Wealth Management and primarily SBL background preferably in product management, and business development.
  • Strong understanding of Wealth Management and SBL technology, marketplace and products. (Includes emerging technology such as AI).
  • Proven track record planning and implementing large scale business initiatives including client on-boarding, on-time, transformations and on-budget.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and financial targets including profit margin expansion.
  • Strong analytical skills fact and number based strategic and yet able to get to the details quickly.
  • Values and encourages diverse opinions and balances with decision making timing.
  • Ability and track record closing sales deals, preparing financial/sales proposals and negotiating contracts.
  • Strong industry relationships (C suite) in the Wealth Management and SBL industry (front office, banks, SBL lending and compliance).
  • Proven track record of client and market centric behavior.
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making skills, balanced with pragmatism.
  • Change management skills.
  • Strategic and business planning skills while able to pay attention to detail and drive execution when necessary.
  • Proven track record of building highly effective teams and developing talent.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $250,000 - $275,000.

Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
