JOB DUTIES: Lead a small team of product owners to improve risk management, advisor experience, employee experience, and efficiency across LPL’s annuity and life insurance supervisory platforms.
Work closely with business and technology leaders across the firm to ensure alignment on vision, strategy, and performance goals.
Develop a deep understanding of the experiences and challenges advisors face during interactions with LPL’s annuity and insurance supervision process.
Leverage knowledge of business models, including M&A strategy, to develop multi-year roadmaps and prioritize product enhancements.
Create and gain alignment on a multi-year vision and strategic product roadmaps, including marketing strategy.
Develop reporting mechanisms, processes, and key performance indicators that communicate progress, risks, and issues to drive continuous learning and achieve desired outcomes.
Ensure results are delivered through repeatable, scalable processes.
Assist the SVP of Product Management in influencing funding decisions to support investments in best-in-class technology solutions for the supervision of annuities and life insurance.
Present materials to the highest levels in the organization and serve as a recognized product subject matter expert.
REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a closely related field.
MINIMUM Experience Requirement: six (6) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Alternate Education and Experience Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Special Skills: Applicants must possess demonstrated expertise with the following:
Performing analysis and implementation for annuities platform compliance, including Blue Sky state laws, BETA Trading Execution Management, and AFFIRM order management.
Analyzing DTCC annuities trading data and generating compliance reporting using Oracle OBIEE Reporting Tool, Excel, XML editor, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Analyzing FINRA compliance activities for deficiencies; and determine and implement resolutions for compliance systems.
Performing data analysis and profiling using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and manual analysis to interpret trends/patterns, identify relationships, understand anomalies, assess data quality, and add context to requirements within the AML and compliance domain.
Analyzing trade life cycle and measurement of risk sensitivities within the brokerage and advisory businesses.
Analyzing annuities and life insurance products, including suitability risks and fiduciary standards.
