Role Summary/Purpose:

This Go-to-Market role will serve as lead client integration project manager for a portfolio of products and digital capabilities.  The position will be aligned to and responsible for updating and aiding Synchrony platform leadership on integration prioritization, status, capacity, risks, level of effort, and timing.  Given the critical nature of ensuring client expectations are met with speed and precision the ability to communicate, inspire, and influence at all levels is essential to this position’s success.  Demonstrated complex project management experience is a must.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead product and capability client implementations

  • Be at the forefront of product and capability roadmaps in order to understand key components and interplay parameters for integration purposes

  • Utilize project management skills that leverage a broad suite of project management tools and software to drive accountability, organization, and timely deliveries of implementations

  • Deliver executive-level updates on implementation progress, risks, and resource needs

  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, constantly designing implementation process improvements to speed up the execution & delivery of products and capabilities.

  • Work proactively to link insights from sales, marketing, IT, risk, and operations to improve the quality and speed of product and capability client adoptions

  • Build a strong cross-functional network and foster close working relationships with internal stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain implementation dashboards and manage key metrics associated with strategic programs

  • Partner with Commercialization leaders to lead, influence, and drive alignment across platforms, functional, and agile teams to help define strategies and oversee product delivery – including identification, assessment, prioritization, and implementation processes

  • Build and cultivate platform partnerships with client initiatives teams through regular routines

  • Technical liaison and operational support for artifact management

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree. In lieu of a degree, HE Diploma/GED 10 years of Sales, Marketing or Financial Services industry experience

  • Demonstrated influencing skills with cross-functional Sr. Leaders

  • Minimum of 8 years Sales, Marketing or Financial industry experience

  • Minimum of 3 years Proven project or program management experience in a cross-functional environment

  • Travel may be required up to 25-35%

  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

  • Demonstrated thought leadership – coupled with strong communication skills and ability to help teams connect the dots on new ideas, processes, and strategies. 

  • Ability to leverage technology to create new processes and drive efficiency gains

  • Proven track record of delivering results; must be process and detail-oriented, capable of handling large workloads through multi-tasking

  • Demonstrated strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Waterfall & Agile Project Management experience

  • Sales or Marketing experience in credit card networks, financial services, or retail industry

Grade/Level: 12

                                                            

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
