The Vice President of Partner Sales is responsible for developing and executing Alight's partner and channel sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion through third-party organizations. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, strong leadership, and exceptional relationship-building skills to manage the sales of a partner ecosystem effectively. The VP also has oversight of the sale of Alight Benefit Guidance (ABG) and Engagement Services (ES). ABG is a high-touch, personalized guided enrollment service offered to employees and ES encompasses key employee engagement products and services. 

The VP, Partner Sales is a senior leadership role, reporting to the SVP, Partner Strategy & Sales. This role leads a team of Sales Directors and Solution Architects.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development & Execution: Define and execute comprehensive partner and  client engagement sales strategies that align with overall business objectives and identify new market opportunities.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing partner sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

  • Revenue Growth: Drive customer revenue growth through joint go-to-market programs, co-selling, and partner-sourced deals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Performance Tracking & Forecasting: Accurately forecast and deliver on sales commitments. Establish and monitor team performance against key performance indicators and revenue generation. 

  • Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with key partners' sales organizations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including account management, partner management & marketing to ensure alignment of partner offerings, messaging, and seamless support.

  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Oversee and negotiate complex partner contracts and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial terms and compliance with legal considerations

Requirements

  • 10+ years sales experience with significant experience in partner or channel management and a proven track record of driving substantial revenue growth.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership, mentorship, and motivational skills to inspire and guide teams and influence stakeholders. Have 5+ years managing and leading a sales team with proven forecasting accuracy.

  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential for building relationships, negotiating high-stakes deals, and representing the company at executive levels

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and partner management platforms for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting is crucial. 

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience, with an MBA or advanced degree often preferred.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

215,000.00 USD

Maximum :

230,000.00 USD
