The Vice President, Employee Engagement is an execution-focused leader responsible for scaling our global employee engagement programs, workforce planning initiatives, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting on behalf of the Human Capital Group. Reporting to the Global Head of Employee Engagement, this role will design the engagement frameworks necessary to support our integration efforts as we continue to expand globally. We are looking for a strategic thinker who excels at turning high-level vision into measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the Global Head of Employee Engagement to translate the global engagement strategy into actionable initiatives that drive business growth and performance.
Oversee the firm’s employee listening strategy, including the biennial engagement survey and targeted pulse checks; analyze and transform raw data into actionable insights and executive presentations.
Lead the execution and scaling of core initiatives, including leadership forums, recognition programs, cultural alignment efforts, and cross-regional collaboration strategies.
Develop engagement metrics and dashboards to measure program effectiveness and facilitate data-driven decision-making for senior leadership.
Act as the primary liaison between global and regional teams to ensure consistency in employee experience across onboarding, mobility, and offboarding.
Support post-acquisition integration efforts by standardizing onboarding frameworks and aligning culture and communication across newly acquired teams.
Contribute to workforce planning strategies to ensure talent alignment with organizational expansion and evolving business needs.
Lead workforce-related ESG reporting in partnership with Legal & Compliance, Marketing, and external advisors.
Monitor evolving ESG disclosure requirements and workforce reporting trends to ensure proactive compliance.
Support and scale the Alumni Network by partnering with Recruiting, Marketing, and senior leadership to foster a vibrant alumni community that enhances the firm’s brand and talent pipeline.
Recommended Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Proven track record of 7–10 years’ experience in employee engagement, human capital strategy, organizational development, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience leading engagement programs within a global environment.
Strong analytical capabilities with deep understanding of engagement surveys, workforce analytics, data visualization tools, and other reporting tools to drive decision-making.
Ability to translate complex workforce data into compelling narratives and actionable reports to influence senior leaders.
Proven ability to navigate organizational transitions and align disparate cultures under a unified brand.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior HR experience within investment banking or other financial services industry.
Exposure to M&A integration, organizational scaling, or change management initiatives.
Experience working across diverse time zones and cultural contexts, with a focus on ensuring a consistent global employee experience.
Familiarity with global ESG disclosure frameworks and workforce reporting trends.

Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:$150,000-$200,000
