The VP, Global IT Infrastructure Operations and Cybersecurity is a key leadership role at Interface accountable for defining and driving plans to deliver, support and improve the enterprise IT infrastructure in a secure, cost-effective, timely, high quality, and innovative manner to drive strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Function as a partner and trusted advisor to the Interface Executive leadership team and serve as a contributor to the deployment and realization of the overall Interface strategic business plan
  • Ensure secure, compliant and stable infrastructure services and support enabling Interface business worldwide
  • In partnership with the Executive leadership team, define a global strategy and roadmap for both the IT infrastructure and cybersecurity disciplines
  • Drive innovative solutions that support the growth, efficiency, and agility of the Interface business and the productivity and collaboration of the global IT support team
  • Serve in a leadership role within global IT as an influential player on the IT Global Leadership Team; work effectively in a matrix environment with peers responsible for regional business outcomes, applications, data & analytics, and functional leaders

Technology Strategic Leadership

This role is responsible for establishing trusted relationships with key stakeholders and leaders at Interface, being a connected, influential player within the company. They will understand and contribute to business strategic directions and goals and define an IT strategic plan that supports business strategy. They will plan and communicate and effectively and gain support from key stakeholders. Key focus areas include accelerating digital transformation, executing a cloud strategy and leveraging a unified communications plan.

Service Delivery

This role will provide leadership and vision, driving automation, stability, and availability of our technology infrastructure leveraging cloud and on-premise technologies to support business agility and maximize efficiencies. They are accountable for ensuring stable IT operations and services worldwide. They will define and support an IT service catalog aligned to business needs and develop an ongoing project portfolio that supports a global IT strategy. They will collaborate and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) that are meaningful to the business.

People Leadership

The VP, Global IT Infrastructure Operations and Cybersecurity will lead a global operations team of Architects, Engineers, IT Service Delivery staff, Support Services personnel and contractors. They will attract, retain and develop highly effective team members that align with the Interface culture and conduct business in an ethical and legal manner. They are responsible for hiring, salary recommendations and all employment-related decisions within the global Infrastructure and Cybersecurity organization. They will cultivate a bench of talent that delivers results and supports future growth. They will drive the establishment of performance goals, identify individual and team skill gaps, provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members and recognize great performance.

Cybersecurity Management

This role will be accountable for strategic leadership of the Interface cybersecurity program. They will have a depth of knowledge in understanding cyber risks and the Interface security posture, processes and procedures. They will be an active leader in global IT by providing the right security and privacy posture and ensuring operational discipline and compliance with risk-based controls in securing Interface consumers, customers and employees. They will direct the monitoring of the global network and all endpoints 24x7x365 to ensure enterprise assets are protected. They will provide visibility to stakeholders with ongoing communication and reporting and will ensure compliance to the Interface IT security and controls framework. They will ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and GDPR controls, disaster recovery, security incident response and business continuity plans are in place and tested appropriately. They create and support education and awareness programs for employees on security issues, best practices and vulnerabilities.

Operational Control

The VP, Global IT Infrastructure Operations and Cybersecurity will lead the delivery of security, technology and support services within an approved budget and via a team-based, customer-centric approach. They will direct the planning, organizing, implementing, securing and monitoring of both internal and outsourced Data Center Operations, maintenance and support for all network, storage, servers, telephone and affiliate infrastructure(s) that provide service capability to the business. They will provide technical expertise on evaluation, selection, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure assets. They will manage end-to-end infrastructure design, capacity and performance management and continuous improvement efforts that enable business objectives. They will collaborate with stakeholders on projects that involve IT to forecast costs, capabilities and resources. They will ensure ITIL process alignment where appropriate and ensure short and long-term plans support business objectives.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field Preferred
  • Master's Degree Business or Information Management Technology Preferred

Knowledge and Experience

  • Required – 15+ years of IT experience with 10+ years in infrastructure
  • Required – 10+ years managing an IT function in a global environment
  • Required – 7+ years experience in cybersecurity management
  • Preferred – Experience managing large scale, complex processes and systems implementation projects
  • Preferred – Training and/or certification in the following: network infrastructure, server management, and firewall management
