Job Context
The Vice President of FP&A will serve as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, balance sheet and cash flow analyses and reporting, and strategic planning. The VP of FP&A is responsible for helping the Executive Team and Board members gain financial visibility and insights into the business. They will conduct budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and analyses of the business. This person will also provide strategic guidance to the business and key stakeholders.What You’ll Do
Partner with business leaders in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and corporate objectives
Build and maintain robust financial models to support scenario analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts
Develop multi-year strategic plans for the business in collaboration with leaders
Develop and track leading KPIs in line with our strategic initiatives and regional priorities
Develop high-quality presentations and executive summaries for senior leadership, supplemented by FP&A team inputs and actional insights
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (including Controllers, Human Resources, Corporate Strategy, Global Product Solutions, Investment teams) and Finance teams in advancing projects and managing the business
Drive a collaborative and supportive work environment, actively coaching and developing team members
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business preferred
Minimum 10 years experience
Financial analysis: The ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial statements
Critical thinking: The ability to think analytically and solve problems
Communication: The ability to communicate well verbally
Time management: The ability to manage time effectively
Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changes in accounting standards, technologies, and client interactions
Attention to detail: The ability to be thorough and pay close attention to detail
Proficiency with financial software: The ability to use financial software and systems
