ETFs are one of the most dynamic areas of growth and innovation at Nuveen, and the Capital Markets team sits at the center of that momentum. Operating within the ETF department, the team serves as the primary hub connecting internal partners — including Portfolio Management, Trading, Operations, Technology, Sales, and Marketing — with the broader ETF ecosystem of Market Makers, Authorized Participants, Exchanges, and trading platforms.
This Vice President role is purpose-built for a professional who brings both deep technical expertise in ETF market mechanics and the strategic instincts to grow a competitive platform. You will maintain hands-on engagement with daily capital markets operations — including creation/redemption workflows and custom basket rebalancing — while taking primary ownership of Nuveen's most important external partnerships and distribution enablement infrastructure. This dual mandate is intentional: it ensures that ecosystem relationships are managed by someone who understands the operational realities underlying them, and that the distribution organization is supported by a subject matter expert who can translate complex market structure concepts into clear, actionable guidance for advisors and clients.
The role offers meaningful visibility across Nuveen's ETF business, with direct engagement across senior leadership, key external partners, and distribution teams. For the right candidate, it represents a clear and accelerated path toward a senior leadership position within ETF capital markets.
