Role Purspose
Lead the EMEACLA Compliance team by providing strategic direction for the company’s compliance program. Offer guidance on Edwards’ global business practices and standards governing interactions with health care providers, while further strengthening and advancing the regional compliance framework.
How you will make an impact:
- Set regional compliance strategy by evaluating regulatory requirements and business needs, and by implementing scalable, long‑term compliance solutions
- Advise senior and executive leadership on compliance matters, providing insights and recommendations that support informed decision‑making; lead the EMEACLA Compliance Committee in close collaboration with Regional Leadership
- Manage and develop team members at multiple levels, overseeing complex, multidisciplinary responsibilities across regions to ensure effective and pragmatic compliance operations
- Optimize and streamline HCP‑related policies, processes, and systems by identifying issues, applying internal and external best practices, and driving practical solutions
- Oversee and enhance training programs to ensure they remain comprehensive and risk‑based; guide the development and rollout of improved policies, procedures, and processes across the organization
- In close collaboration with the Global Investigations team, support investigations of potential misconduct, ensuring thorough, consistent handling, resolution, and remediation of allegations
What you'll need:
- Proven ability to advise and influence senior and executive leaders on complex, high‑risk compliance matters
- Demonstrated experience setting and driving regional compliance strategy aligned with global standards and business priorities
- Ability to make sound and independent judgments in ambiguous and highly regulated environments
- Expert knowledge of healthcare compliance frameworks, effective compliance program standards, and industry codes
- Strong understanding of regulatory expectations governing interactions with healthcare professionals
- Experience translating risk assessments, monitoring outcomes, and investigations into actionable mitigation plans
- Proven track record of leading, developing, and empowering multi‑level, cross‑regional teams
- Experience partnering closely with HR on employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness
- Ability to lead through influence and foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and psychological safety
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with executive‑level audiences
- Ability to negotiate and manage extremely sensitive matters internally and externally
- Strong relationship‑building skills across functions, regions, and external stakeholders
- Capability to optimize and streamline policies, processes, and systems using internal and external best practices
- Experience embedding metrics to demonstrate the value of compliance and corporate responsibility to the business
- Ability to influence adoption of new technologies and lead large‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives
- Advanced professional proficiency in English; additional European languages strongly preferred
- Comfort operating in fast‑paced, complex, and constantly evolving environments
- Strong attention to detail paired with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset
