We're looking for a Voice and Video Support Specialist to join our team in St. John's. In this role, you'll keep our video conference rooms running smoothly, ensure our voice systems are reliable, and serve as the local point of contact for contact center technologies—both on-site and for remote locations.
You'll fit right in if you're hands-on, love troubleshooting AV equipment, and enjoy working with global teams to deliver seamless communication experiences. This is a practical role that blends in-room support with enterprise-level operations.
What You'll Do
- Conduct daily room readiness checks, troubleshoot video endpoints (Zoom Rooms, Cisco, Poly, Logitech), and coordinate vendor repairs to keep conference rooms fully operational.
- Support voice services and contact center platforms (Zoom Phone, AWS Contact Center, Dialpad) by triaging user issues, managing device setups, and assisting with call flow validations.
- Partner with global Voice, Video, Network, and Security teams to maintain reliable, secure systems and resolve incidents within SLA.
- Maintain documentation, room configurations, and local AV inventory while following ITIL processes for incident and change management.
- Provide on-site support for executive meetings and events, and participate in rotational on-call support as needed.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting video conferencing systems, voice platforms, or contact center technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with AV equipment, endpoints, and cloud communication platforms.
- Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional environments and communicating technical issues clearly.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and tools for monitoring call quality and room analytics.
Nice to Have
- Certifications related to unified communications, AV systems, or contact center technologies.
- Experience with network concepts like QoS, VLANs, and PoE as they relate to voice and video quality.
- Background working with global teams across multiple time zones.
This position will be located in St. John's and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
