Job Summary: You will serve as a VISUAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST in the Visual Information Branch of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: GS-12 LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing expert-level knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite to design, plan, and develop original visual information products without supervision; 2) Producing finished artwork associated with a wide range of materials, including digital presentations, printed publications, illustrations, and complex exhibits; 3) Collaborating across directorates to produce subject matter information using a variety of visual elements that will convey the intended message to diverse audiences; 4) Serving as a technical authority on visual communication, advising customers on appropriate design application for projects and recommending most feasible solution for challenging situations; and 5) Consulting from a designer's perspective while incorporating Joint Combatant Command Experience to help develop strong, visually appealing products that directly support unique mission requirements. Experience must be in the actual type of work for which application is made. Unpaid experience is creditable, provided the work done was of a quality level and demonstrated the ability required for the position being filled.
