Job Summary
We are looking for a Solution Architect who is a proactive, self-starter with strong experience in collaborating with business and software engineering teams to deliver world-class products. This role involves designing and delivering technical solutions that address complex business challenges, leveraging reusable assets and global patterns. The Solution Architect will map customer requirements to end-to-end technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
You will assess customer needs, develop integrated solutions, and support cost estimation. From inception to execution, you will be involved in international projects across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific, guiding architecture compliance and implementation governance. Our development approach is rooted in Lean Product Design and Agile Software Development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As a member of both the Architecture and Development teams, the Solution Architect bridges concept and implementation. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product managers to understand technical and architectural requirements.
- Define architecture solutions that support product and system strategies.
- Advise development teams on architecture definition, technology evaluation, and solution blueprints.
- Provide guidance on technology choices, standards adherence, and approval processes for deviations.
- Coordinate with other technology domains to formulate high-level solution architectures.
- Participate in solution architecture reviews and recommend optimizations.
- Lead architectural and design reviews with development teams.
- Produce comprehensive architectural documentation and artifacts.
- Integrate security, compliance, and data privacy into architectural designs.
- Resolve complex integration, interoperability, and scalability challenges.
- Maintain architecture documentation, standards, and reusable guidelines.
- Ensure alignment with organizational and industry best practices.
- Assist in implementation planning, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Job Qualifications
Education & Experience
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of overall IT experience.
- 3+ years in an architectural or technical leadership role delivering enterprise-grade applications.
- Proven experience working with external customers to translate needs into technical solutions.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure components, middleware, and service architectures.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
- Background in designing and building end-user applications and backend systems.
- Experience in cross-functional, globally distributed teams; international experience preferred.
- Ability to scope requirements, identify tasks, and estimate effort accurately.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical decisions and rationale.
- Passion for innovation and staying current with IT industry trends.
- Excellent analytical, written, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, independent, and capable of managing responsibilities autonomously.
