Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Position would be 36 patient-facing hours per week with varying shifts. 7-3pm; 9-5pm; 10-6pm; Saturdays 8am-12pm.

Pay Range

$47.50 - $71.25

Position Highlights

  • Outpatient-only role with no nights or weekends

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

    • 4.5 clinic days per week

    • 0.5 dedicated administrative day

  • Call: One inpatient holiday per year

  • Patient Volume: Approximately 14 patients per day

  • Procedures: PEG tube exchanges (training/support provided)

Practice Environment

  • Kenilworth office location

  • Team includes 8 physicians and 5 APPs at the site

  • Larger group includes 27 physicians and 27 APPs across the practice

  • Supportive leadership and highly experienced colleagues

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient gastroenterology care to adult patients

  • Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and APP colleagues

  • Participate in team-based care delivery and clinical coordination

  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and patient experience

Qualifications

  • Certified Physician Assistant or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

  • North Carolina licensure (or ability to obtain)

  • Minimum of 2 years of APP experience required (no new grads)

  • Interest in general gastroenterology; subspecialty interests welcomed

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
