Job Description
The Role
As a Virtual Analysis Engineer within the Body Manufacturing Product Interface (PI) organization, you will ensure that product designs are manufacturable, robust, and compliant with Body Manufacturing Requirements (MRs). You will use advanced math‑based tools, simulation utilities, and digital verification methods to evaluate weldability, accessibility, sealing, part handling, and overall BIW manufacturability throughout the Vehicle Development Process.
You will serve as a key technical bridge between Product Engineering, Stamping, Body ME, and Manufacturing Integration teams—providing early, actionable feedback that reduces design churn, prevents downstream issues, and ensures that GM’s products are optimized for high‑quality, high‑volume production.
