The Business Implementation Lead plays a critical role in the successful implementation and optimization of OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and in driving best-in-class I2P process design and execution globally. This role bridges technical capabilities with business process expertise, ensuring seamless end-to-end integration of the I2P process within our enterprise systems landscape.
You will serve as the key liaison between functional teams, project stakeholders, and technology partners, playing a pivotal role in process design, system configuration, change management, and global rollout strategies.
Create and promote a vision for FME’s global I2P processes by leveraging industry best practices and technologies.
Drive the successful execution of the OpenText VIM implementation program, including developing and managing a comprehensive roadmap.
Ensure consistent communication and program visibility across stakeholders.
Track progress, manage budgets, and report status to senior management and stakeholders. Proactively identify risks and issues, lead corrective actions, and recalibrate timelines to ensure objectives are met within scope.
Act as the central point of contact, facilitating cross-functional collaboration among finance, IT, procurement, leadership teams, and third-party partners, while defining project vision.
Lead requirements-gathering and blueprinting sessions—identifying gaps, creating business process models, and defining workflows such as approval routing and exception handling.
Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and partner with technical teams on custom developments, debugging, and performance enhancements.
Oversee configuration and integration activities (including S/4HANA interfaces) and guide testing, training, and go-live efforts.
Ensure the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation including configuration guides, process flows, and training materials.
Facilitate the transition to operational support, overseeing system stabilization, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field. Certifications in SAP VIM or S/4HANA Finance are an advantage.
Over 7 years of progressive experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Invoice-to-Pay (I2P), and Accounts Payable operations, with a proven track record of driving operational efficiency and process excellence.
Deep expertise in SAP Accounts Payable processes and system integration, with hands-on experience overseeing custom developments and functional enhancements tailored to business needs.
Comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end I2P lifecycle, including invoice processing, PO/non-PO matching, exception resolution, compliance adherence, and payment execution.
Demonstrated success in global process management and transformation roles, bringing a strategic and scalable approach to process design and optimization.
Experience leading successful implementations of OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and similar workflow automation solutions such as Basware and ReadSoft, improving AP automation and reducing manual touchpoints.
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and its integration with OpenText VIM, enabling a robust and future-ready AP ecosystem.
