ViiV Marketing Manager

Japan - Tokyo - Akasaka Full time

In this role, you will be key member of the ViiV Japan marketing team, reporting directly to the Brand Lead and playing a central role in shaping and executing brand strategy. You will work across functions and with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to translate strategic intent into impactful actions that maximize product value in the market. For marketers who are motivated by ownership, strategic thinking, and the opportunity to truly influence the market, this position offers a unique and rewarding challenge.

Job Purpose:
・Plan and execute the marketing strategy and tactics to ensure commercial success of the product. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To strategically drive “Shape the market” & “Shape the product”, work with Brand Lead to develop and execute brand strategy and tactics for the product.
  • Develop promotion scheme and relevant promotion materials that support the communication of the brand strategy and meet the compliance code.
  • Plan and execute marketing-led promotional speaker programs that support the communication of the brand strategy and meet the compliance code.
  • Gather and obtain insights from market and find out opportunities to expand access to the treatment.
  • Analyze the existing market through utilizing appropriate market research, and market modeling with secondary/primary data in order to best position the brand among the competitive landscape and to understand the customer/patient knowledge and practice (Brand Profiling).
  • Utilize appropriate venders by aggressively involving them into determination process of brand planning.
  • Working closely with Sales Team to engage MRs to ensure the sufficient level of knowledge, belief and motivation to the promotion
  • Build and execute external customer engagement plan to develop and maintain relationships with key external experts and other key stakeholders.

必要な条件 / Basic Qualifications

スキル Skills

  • Demonstrated strength in strategic and analytical capabilities.
  • Good understanding of Japan health system, policies and drivers.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated competence in consulting, business and financial acumen, negotiation, conflict management and leadership

経験 Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the healthcare, medical device or pharmaceutical industry
  • 2+ years of experience in planning and executing HCP speaker programs aligned with brand strategy, as well as developing medical promotional materials in compliance with industry regulations.

学位/資格/語学力 Education/certification/Language

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Japanese: Native level
  • English: Business -level(Read, write and communicate effectively in a professional environment , with the counterparts based in UK/Singapore and EU region)
