Valeo’s VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

The site of Tokyo based in Japan belongs to Brain Division. We are looking for a VIE Telematics Resident Engineer for 12 months within the team.

Your challenges?

  • You interface with the original equipment manufacturer design and development team to support the full product development cycle and collect concerns and data
     

  • You present design and development feedback and product status clearly to the customer
     

  • You participate in validation events at the original equipment manufacturer, supporting product testing and log collection for bug analysis
     

  • You follow Valeo design and development processes for part analysis and ensure timing commitments with the customer are respected
     

  • You analyze field failure parts with the support of the design and development team and present findings to the original equipment manufacturer
     

  • You communicate technical analysis results and customer feedback effectively across different teams in the organization
     

  • You propose solutions and improvements based on analysis and cross-functional discussions
     

  • You track, report, and escalate issues when needed to ensure proper follow-up and resolution

Let’s talk about you…

  • You are graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • You already have experience in product development, design and development support, validation, or field failure analysis in the automotive or embedded systems industry

  • You have a fluent level of English (Japanese or French is a plus)

  • You have good communication skills, have an international mindset, and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking

  • You are humble, a good listener, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have a sense of diplomacy

  • Experience with statistical analysis, quality management, or automotive development processes is a plus
