At the heart of electric mobility, Valeo Power brings together expertise in thermal management systems and propulsion systems. This division develops innovations that contribute to the mobility of tomorrow by reducing pollutant emissions and maximizing vehicle autonomy.
The site of Kohnan based in Japan belongs to Power Division. We are looking for a VIE Purchasing for 12 months within the team.
Your challenges?
You define and implement technical, re-sourcing, logistics and VPS material productivity actions and productivity reservoirs in line with budget requirements, in collaboration with the segment organization.
You support the commodity organization (Segment Leaders) in achieving site negotiation objectives.
You drive MSC material productivity actions and actively involve suppliers in line with budget timing.
You monitor Supplier Relationship Management when acting as Key Account Purchasing (KAP) for assigned suppliers not covered by the Group Commodity organization.
You build the site(s) budget together with the Site Purchasing Manager, in close liaison with Segment Leaders.
You implement mitigation action plans at site level to secure objectives.
You ensure coverage and strict application of logistics protocols and V5000 Supplier Integration standards for all bought-out parts.
Let’s talk about you…
You hold a Master’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business (or equivalent).
You already have experience in Purchasing, Commodity Management, or Supply Chain in an industrial environment.
You have a fluent level of English (both written and spoken).
You have strong communication skills, an international mindset, and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking.
You are humble, a good listener, positive-minded, professional, and demonstrate a strong sense of diplomacy.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP) or in an international/multisite environment is a plus.
