Valeo’s VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

At the heart of electric mobility, Valeo Power brings together expertise in thermal management systems and propulsion systems. This division develops innovations that contribute to the mobility of tomorrow by reducing pollutant emissions and maximizing vehicle autonomy.

The site of Atsugi-Shi based in Japan belongs to POWER Division. The site has 170 employees around 2 activities. We are looking for a VIE Management Controller for 24 months.

Your challenges?

• R&D Control: You will manage the control of R&D workload and costs by project and by report.

• Overheads control: You will budget costs in SAP and control overheads.

• Investment control: You will prepare investment forecasts, working closely with the user department, and monitor actual investments.

• Internal control: You will participate in the internal control self-assessment for operational processes related to R&D and overheads.

• Budget and five-year planning: You will prepare the budget and five-year planning data on R&D costs and overheads. 

• Reporting: You will be responsible for monthly closing reporting, budget and five-year planning data to be entered into the reporting system. 

• Closing: You will be responsible for preparing journal entries for the monthly closing.

• Annual audit: You will be responsible for providing the information required for the annual audit of R&D and overheads.

 Let’s talk about you…

• You are graduated from a Master degree in Finance

• You already have experience in Finance, accounting or cost analysis/ cross divisional analysis  

• You have a fluent level of English and knowledge of Japanese would be ideal

• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking

• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy 

• You have a good command of IT tools : macro excel, SAP

• Spreadsheet analysis is a plus
