Lead the end-to-end program for video and motion content across platforms—covering workflow design, vendor/platform governance, project management, localization, accessibility, and performance analytics—with a strong requirement for expert motion design leadership.
Scope includes AI-assisted video, motion graphics, screen-capture/product demos, live-action, and interactive formats.
Focus is on process, risk management, and outcomes, while ensuring motion design quality is a differentiator.
Position Responsibilities:
Program and Project Management
Design and run the video operations model (intake, scoping, resourcing, SLAs, timelines, and release management).
Own the cross-functional roadmap aligned to Sales and L&D priorities; define KPIs/OKRs (adoption, engagement, conversion, learning impact) and report ROI.
Maintain a portfolio view: capacity planning, prioritization, status tracking, and vendor coordination.
Technology and Platform Governance
Define and enforce governance frameworks for video/tools (AI video, motion design, editing, hosting/distribution, DAM, LMS, sales enablement), including roles/permissions, approval workflows, versioning, and metadata/taxonomy.
Establish content standards: brand compliance, templates, accessibility (WCAG), localization, data retention, and naming conventions.
Partner with IT, Security, Legal, and Compliance to meet security, privacy, and regulatory requirements; lead audits, risk assessments, and remediation.
Manage vendor lifecycle: evaluation, onboarding, contracts/SLAs, playbooks, usage reviews, and escalation paths.
Motion Design Leadership and Production Operations
Set the motion system: define animation principles, typography, transitions, data visualization, and on-screen systems; create a motion style guide and reusable After Effects template libraries.
Provide hands-on After Effects direction and production for high-impact assets; establish standards for precomps, expressions, render pipelines, color management, and asset versioning.
Build repeatable production pipelines for AI avatar/text-to-video, motion graphics, screen-recordings, live-action (remote/on-site), and interactive video.
Oversee localization (multilingual VO/subtitles, regional reviews) and accessibility (captions, transcripts, player compliance, low-bandwidth readiness).
Content Strategy and Enablement
Translate business needs into briefs and distribution plans tied to sales plays, campaigns, and learning paths.
Collaborate with Marketing to adapt assets for video; align messaging, CTAs, and measurement.
Integrate videos into L&D curricula/microlearning; establish feedback loops and continuous improvement.
Quality, Compliance, and Risk Management
Implement QA checklists: factual accuracy, brand/legal compliance, consent/rights management, accessibility, and performance testing.
Define ethical AI and synthetic media guidelines (disclosure, consent, usage boundaries, audit trails).
Manage content lifecycle: review cadences, deprecation policies, archival standards, and governance dashboards.
Training, Documentation, and Change Management
Produce SOPs, playbooks, and documentation for workflows, governance, and platform usage.
Deliver training, office hours, and onboarding; create certification paths for tool proficiency, including After Effects best practices and motion standards.
Lead change management for new tools/processes: communications, stakeholder alignment, and adoption tracking.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Media Production, Motion Design, Interaction Design, or Information Management, or equivalent experience
5+ years in program or project management within content operations, creative ops, or enablement; strong planning, prioritization, stakeholder management, and vendor oversight.
Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects (3D/2.5D workflows, expressions, rigging, animation principles, typography, data-driven motion, plugin ecosystems such as Red Giant/Animation Composer, color management, output/render optimization). Ability to set standards and mentor others.
Experience across a multi-platform video ecosystem: editing suites (Premiere/Final Cut), motion tools (Cinema 4D or Blender a plus), screen capture, AI video tools, and enterprise hosting/distribution (DAM, LMS, intranet, sales enablement).
Capability to define motion systems, templates, and standards; guide internal/external producers to meet quality, brand, accessibility, and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of post-production pipelines, asset management, and distribution best practices
Strong written and verbal communication; able to synthesize complex needs into actionable plans for Marketing, Sales, L&D, IT, Security, and Legal.
Proven ability to influence without authority, manage expectations, and drive consensus across functions.
Comfortable with A/B testing, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making; adept at connecting content insights to strategy and pivots.
Active trend scanning across AI video, motion design, localization, and interactive formats; proposes scalable improvements while maintaining governance.
Preferred Qualifications:
UX/UI design skills in Figma are a plus, including component libraries, prototyping, and design systems that inform motion standards and template development.
