General Function:

The Video & Multimedia Designer is responsible for producing, shooting, editing, and designing engaging visual content across digital and social platforms. This role emphasizes editing and motion graphics execution, translating creative direction into polished, on-brand multimedia assets that support marketing initiatives and business objectives.

This position plays a key role in post-production, shaping concepts into compelling stories through editing, pacing, typography, and motion. The ideal candidate combines strong editing instincts with a sharp eye for design fundamentals.

They confidently contribute ideas, stay current on emerging trends, and propose visual approaches that elevate brand storytelling. They are skilled at identifying strong creative examples and translating relevant concepts into brand-aligned execution.

The Video & Multimedia Designer collaborates closely with the Video Content and Social Media teams, as well as cross-functional partners, to ensure consistent storytelling and visual alignment across all assets.

Reporting Relations

Accountable and Reports to: Assistant Director, Video Content; Vice President, Social/Digital Content

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead video editing for social media, digital platforms, and other marketing needs.

  • Create motion graphics and animated assets, including typography, overlays, and branded visual elements.

  • Produce social-first video and multimedia content while maintaining brand standards and attention to detail.

  • Translate creative direction into polished, production-ready multimedia assets.

  • Apply strong design fundamentals across video and motion outputs, ensuring consistency across typography, layout, color, and composition.

  • Collaborate with the social and video teams to develop platform-specific content optimized for engagement and performance.

  • Research emerging social trends and identify relevant creative examples to inform and elevate content development.

  • Support campaign launches and marketing initiatives with timely and accurate creative deliverables

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:

  • Strong video editing skills with a demonstrated understanding of pacing, sequencing, and visual storytelling.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects, including motion graphics and animated typography.

  • Experience creating dynamic, mobile-first video content optimized for social platforms.

  • Solid foundation in graphic design principles, including typography, layout, color, and composition.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the confidence to contribute ideas and improvements.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to executional excellence.

  • Expertise in graphic design and aesthetic principals and typography across various media (primarily digital and some print) with strong sense of visual hierarchy.

  • Experience in overseeing the development and execution of projects across a range of mediums.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Works well in a team environment with ability to lead projects associated with internal marketing department and external suppliers.

  • Knowledge of Mac computer systems and programs, including Microsoft Office software, Outlook and project management platform. Well versed in job-specific programs in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and PremierPro) and Keynote.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Video Production, Marketing, or related field preferred.

  • 3–6 years of experience in video editing and motion graphics.

  • Experience creating social-first video content and digital creative assets.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing video editing, motion graphics, and design execution.

  • Experience working in a brand or agency environment preferred. 

Working Conditions: The duties for this position are conducted remotely and in a general office environment. There is frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.

Contacts: Has frequent contact with marketing team, operations, external partners, and store personnel.
