Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Video Editor to support our content and marketing teams by producing clean, professional, and engaging video materials. This position focuses on basic editing, formatting, and repurposing existing content for various platforms. The ideal candidate has a good eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within established brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities:

  • Edit and assemble recorded raw footage into polished, cohesive video content.
  • Add simple graphics, text overlays, transitions, and subtitles using Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent software.
  • Format and export videos for multiple digital channels including social media, internal communications, and marketing platforms.
  • Perform basic color correction, sound balancing, and trimming for smooth playback.
  • Follow established brand templates and maintain visual consistency across all deliverables.
  • Collaborate remotely with U.S.-based teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Organize and archive video assets for future use.


Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, Multimedia, or related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects or Audition is a plus but not required.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in video editing or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of pacing, sequencing, and storytelling through edits.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction.
  • Comfortable working with remote supervision and managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and adherence to file-naming and version-control standards.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience creating simple motion graphics, lower thirds, or title cards.
  • Familiarity with photo editing (Adobe Photoshop) for thumbnail and asset prep.
  • Understanding of video optimization for social media (aspect ratios, compression, captions).
