Job Title: Video Editor

Role: Freelancer

Duration: 2-3 months

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

 

About the role:

The Video Editors will be responsible for creating dynamic motion graphics and animations that bring brand stories to life across digital and social platforms. This role combines design creativity with technical expertise in animation to deliver engaging, social-first content at scale. The Motion Designer will collaborate with Art Directors, Copywriters, and Video Editors to translate creative concepts into impactful animated assets that align with brand guidelines and resonate with consumers.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Video Editing
  • Motion & Animation Design
  • Conceptualize, design, and produce motion graphics for brand campaigns, social content, product explainers, and digital activations.
  • Create animated typography, transitions, and graphic elements to elevate video and static content.
  • Social-first Content Creation
  • Adapt content into short-form animated formats (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, Stories, etc.).
  • Ensure animations are optimized for mobile-first consumption.

Creative Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Creative Leads, Videographers, and Designers to develop integrated creative outputs.
  • Working as video editors with motion graphics elements for campaign edits and remix content.
  • Ensure all animation work follows brand guidelines and visual identity systems.
  • Maintain consistency in look & feel across multiple campaigns and platforms.

Agility & Speed:

  • Deliver high volumes of animated assets within short timelines.
  • Stay up to date with motion design trends, platform features, and cultural moments to propose fresh creative ideas.
  • Timely delivery of motion assets aligned to monthly committed volume.
  • Creative quality and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Engagement performance of animated content on digital platforms.
  • Positive feedback from brand stakeholders on creativity and agility.

 

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Animation, Multimedia Arts, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Motion Designer / Motion Graphics Artist, preferably in advertising, social media, or digital content studios.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools (Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro; Cinema4D or Blender is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to adapt designs for various formats, orientations, and social platforms.
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
