An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vice President – Value Delivery to join the Team at Rolls Royce.  We have 3 opportunities across Trent 1000, Trent 7000 and Trent Fleet. 

The Vice President – Value Delivery is responsible for delivering the financial performance of the engine value stream, with full accountability for programme margin optimisation and delivery of the value stream business model. 

Operating within the Trent Fleet & Mature Engines (TFM) organisation, the role ensures the successful execution of the value stream framework. The role has P&L accountability and is required to deliver sustainable revenue growth, improved margins and strong financial performance across the engine lifecycle. 

Working in close partnership with Cost, Fleet Management, Engineering and Customer teams, the role ensures that programme performance is aligned with long-term lifecycle value creation and fleet health. 

 

What you will be doing: 

 

The Vice President – Value Delivery will be accountable for: 

P&L Delivery and Value Stream Execution 

  • Deliver the value stream business model through the definition and implementation of value stream frameworks. 

  • Own programme financial performance, delivering sustainable margin improvement through revenue growth and cost discipline. 

  • Ensure delivery of financial commitments and performance targets across the engine lifecycle. 

  • Lead implementation of the five-year value stream strategy focused on long-term profitability and operational efficiency. 

  • Ensure alignment between operational execution and commercial strategy. 

 

Lifecycle Value Delivery 

  • Drive improvements in lifecycle profitability across the installed fleet. 

  • Translate engineering, operational and fleet performance into clear financial outcomes. 

  • Optimise value across original equipment and aftermarket services. 

  • Identify opportunities to enhance revenue, improve margins and strengthen lifecycle economics. 

 

Commercial and Customer Engagement 

  • Work closely with customer and account management teams to support strategic airline relationships. 

  • Ensure commercial decisions support long-term lifecycle profitability. 

  • Support contract review processes and commercial negotiations impacting programme performance. 

 

Cross-Functional Leadership 

  • Lead collaboration across engineering, operations, supply chain, finance and fleet management. 

  • Ensure alignment across delivery organisations to achieve programme performance objectives. 

  • Drive commercial discipline and accountability across the value stream. 

 

Strategic Impact 

Short-term 

  • Deliver programme financial commitments and margin targets. 

  • Improve financial performance across the value stream. 

Long-term 

  • Optimise a resilient, risk-balanced and profitable lifecycle business model. 

  • Strengthen the long-term competitiveness and financial sustainability of the engine platform. 

 

Preferred requirements: 

  • Proven experience managing P&L in a complex, high-value global business environment. 

  • Strong track record delivering business impact and financial performance. 

  • Experience operating within commercial aviation or highly engineered product industries. 

  • Understanding of engine lifecycle economics and fleet management is highly desirable. 

  • Market and industry dynamics within aerospace or comparable sectors. 

  • Lifecycle service models and aftermarket business models.
