Job Description:
Reporting to the SVP, General Insurance, Distribution, the VP, Strategy, Customer, Colleague and Performance Enablement leads efforts to improve customer experience, boost employee engagement, and drive innovation across TDI. This role connects customer feedback to business decisions, champions sustainability, and oversees critical functions like Business Architecture, Portfolio Management, Regulatory Enablement, and Change Management. The VP ensures business priorities align with TD Insurance’s goals by providing strategic insights and supporting effective execution throughout the organization.
Steward the pan-TDI Customer Experience strategy, embedding customer insights into business decisions and resolving major irritants, while advancing internal and external CX benchmarks.
Lead the colleague strategy for TDI, including engagement, early talent development, events, recognition and rewards, training, education, and sustainability efforts.
Direct TDI's Business Architecture practice to define solutions and prioritize critical capabilities, creating an end-to-end roadmap across all TDI businesses.
Develop, socialize, and execute digitization, automation, optimization, and workflow strategies for TD Insurance.
Ensure regulatory commitments are met by leading the Regulatory Enablement Center of Excellence (COE).
Accelerate TDI’s business strategy and market positioning through leadership of TDI's Innovation function, delivering short-term innovation and long-term thought leadership.
Steward Portfolio Management & Governance (PMaG), providing delivery support through effective OKR oversight, portfolio management, governance, and reporting.
Own TDI's Change Management practice, establishing best-in-class practices to support initiatives and manage change across TD Insurance.
Enable operational efficiencies through leadership of the TSS Business Management Team function.
Deliver strategic and operational guidance by providing actionable insights and fostering transparent discussions to drive value and link strategy to execution.
Oversee performance management initiatives by identifying optimization opportunities, benchmarking against industry standards, and integrating with enterprise partners.
Collaborate with senior leadership to shape, develop, and align comprehensive strategic plans, including growth strategies and innovative opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate degree (e.g., MBA) preferred
15+ years of progressive experience
Understanding of TDI and TDBG enterprise operations, including the ability to navigate complex environments and drive organizational change.
Advanced analytical, strategic, and conceptual thinking skills, with a commercial and service-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement.
Proven experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
Excellent communication skills, as well as strong financial and technology acumen.
Innovative approach with a proven record of embracing and leading change.
Visionary leadership experience, fostering team cohesion, collaboration, and influence across teams and functions.
Ability to organize, standardize, and structure initiatives effectively.
Track record of making decisions based on market and customer needs, consistently applying a customer-centric approach.
Ability to engage and inspire team members at all levels to deliver on TDI’s strategy.
Experience building and sustaining relationships across TDI and the wider enterprise.
