Vice President, Sales Software Audit & Compliance

Red Hat is looking for an individual to lead the Global Enterprise Subscription Education and Awareness Program (SEAP), responsible for strategically developing and supporting the Global Sales organizations’ execution of technology audit, audit engagements, performance audit testing, control and governance, in support of Red Hat’s sales growth objectives. In this role you will directly manage a global team as well as have matrixed responsibility for the regional SEAP leaders across the globe. 

This role requires a balance of software compliance and sales related experience, operational and analytical awareness, influence across a matrixed organization, excellence in audit execution and an ability to identify and solve complex issues across diverse geographical areas. You may participate in high level audit engagements, evaluate and report on management controls, communicate findings, maintain collaborative relationships and drive process efficiencies, all while upholding a culture of integrity, respect and innovation.

SEAP is a major focus area for Red Hat and the role’s success depends on your ability to lead the SEAP transformation, serving as an agent of change and collaborating across a matrixed team. You must be able to provide balanced leadership and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you will do:

  • Partner  with internal stakeholders, globally, to evaluate, test and report on the design and operating effectiveness of audit management controls.

  • Communicate customer consumption and audit findings, while simultaneously identifying opportunities for improvements, both at a Geo and Global scale.

  • Further evolve and scale Red Hat’s software compliance strategy and program to drive efficiencies in the audit process, through automation, when/where possible.

  • Support driving Red Hat’s sales target achievement, globally, via active participation in forecast calls, deal reviews and involvement in escalations.

  • Ensure alignment with Red Hat’s Finance, Sales Operations, Legal and Marketing teams, driving awareness and adherence to SEAP processes, operating methodologies and Red Hat’s subscription model.

  • Develop and drive awareness of SEAP/audit strategies, including collaboration with the Partner Ecosystem, identifying how software compliance standards can be improved and scaled.

  • Ensure Red Hat’s SEAP community is aware of, enabled on and up to date on evolving industry and regulatory developments.

  • Drive greater audit process efficiencies through automation.

  • Partner with Global Enterprise leadership, Finance and Sales Operations on target/quota setting activities and forecasting.

What you will bring:

  • 15+ years sales software audit / compliance / licensing experience in a technology sales environment.

  • Technology/software Industry, subscription and/or financial services experience; expertise in consumption-based business models.

  • Skilled in relationship management, executive presentation and collaboration and influencing.

  • Strong, proven analytical and strategy development skills.

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure, detail-oriented and willing to take personal accountability for results.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a quantitative field; MBA and/or CISA/CIA certification is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $466,440.00 - $816,360.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
