THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Retail Boutique Management Department is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to lead and motivate the teams responsible for selling clothes, delivering world-class client experiences, and building loyal client relationships. As the Vice President, Retail you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement across the region through strategic planning, inspirational leadership, and robust partnership with cross-functional partners. THE ROLE

As the Vice President, Retail, you will oversee and lead the teams to:

  • Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
  • Sell clothes, deliver world-class experiences, and build loyal client relationships.
  • Create an optimal balance of sales and service by having the right people, in the right place at the right time.
  • Seamlessly own or escalate the invisible details that enable an exceptional shopping experience.
  • Manage their day-to-day performance in support of business objectives, enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Vice President, Retail has:

  • Proven and best-in-class skills, education and/or applicable certifications in multi-unit global retail management
  • A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
  • The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
  • The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
