Your Team

As a Vice President, Product Owner for AI Platforms, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution for the enterprise platforms. You will define how autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents are built, orchestrated, governed, and integrated across the company, delivering the foundational platform that powers the next generation of intelligent workflows, experiences, and ecosystems.

You will partner closely with engineering, architecture, UX, security, data science, and business leaders to deliver enterprise-ready AI capabilities at scale. As a senior product leader, you will bring deep expertise in AI platforms, large-scale distributed systems, and modern cloud architectures, along with exceptional communication, influence, and executive presence. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of autonomous AI across the organization.

This role is based in our office in Newark, NJ. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. This position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring weekly basis at least 3 days per week.

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day

  • Develop and communicate the long-term vision and strategy for the enterprise AI Platform, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technology strategy
  • Build, own, and maintain a multi-year product roadmap for core platform services, agent frameworks, integration layers, and governance controls
  • Create and maintain an ongoing product roadmap by working with business areas to identify, sequence, and prioritize enhancement requests
  • Lead product delivery across multiple cross-functional platform teams, ensuring predictable execution and high-quality outcomes
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog; review, refine, and prioritize features and user stories in line with platform vision
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, UX, security, data science, and delivery teams to design and deliver scalable AI capabilities
  • Oversee execution across AI runtimes, agent orchestration frameworks, observability layers, identity management, and multi-agent communication services
  • Define platform success metrics and drive continuous improvement across adoption, reliability, performance, and developer experience
  • Lead sprint and release planning in partnership with Scrum Masters and technology leaders
  • Coordinate, plan, and lead UAT sessions with business stakeholders as needed
  • Communicate frequently with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and buy-in on decisions and proposed solutions
  • Stay ahead of AI industry trends, agentic standards, research advancements, and partner ecosystems; translate insights into actionable product strategy
  • Provide thought leadership inside and outside the organization by simplifying, evangelizing, and governing complex AI concepts
  • Mentor senior product managers and foster a strong internal AI product and platform community
  • Lead the enterprise agentic ecosystem, including runtime services, infrastructure dependencies, memory systems, and agent integration layers

The Skills & Expertise You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of product management, platform leadership, or technology leadership experience, including work with AI/ML platforms, cloud services, or large-scale distributed systems
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, enterprise-wide technology initiatives with significant business impact
  • Strong understanding of modern AI architecture, AI platform frameworks, LLM ecosystems, and responsible AI principles
  • Experience defining and executing multi-year product strategies and roadmaps
  • Expert knowledge of business concepts, tools, and financial metrics used to drive outcomes and inform decision-making
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and drive alignment in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills; ability to simplify complexity and focus teams on outcomes
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies and modern product delivery practices
  • Thought leadership mindset with the ability to educate, inspire, and guide teams through transformational change
  • Ability to continuously learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving AI and technology landscape

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $221,900.00 to $333,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
