The Vice President of Supply Chain, Americas has end-to-end accountability for customer fulfilment and supply chain execution across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. This executive role leads a complex, multi-country operation encompassing centralized logistics platforms and locally embedded execution models to ensure high service levels, cost efficiency, and operational resilience.
This role leads a multifunctional organization spanning supply chain operations, logistics and fulfilment, order management, spares and service fulfilment, refurbishment operations, and close partnership with Sales Operations. The role is responsible for aligning fulfilment capabilities with commercial priorities, ensuring customer-centric outcomes while balancing speed, cost, and reliability.
As a senior leader in the regional operating model, the VP sets and enforces consistent fulfilment standards across the Americas, drives strong cross-functional and external partner collaboration, and embeds a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The role plays a critical leadership position in Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), actively managing short-term risks, constraints, and exceptions, and is a key contributor to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. Through IBP, the leader ensures alignment of demand, capacity, inventory, and logistics strategies with business growth plans.
Reporting to the Global Logistics, Planning and Markets Supply Chain Director, this leader is expected to design, scale, and evolve an agile, data-driven, and customer-focused fulfilment model capable of supporting growth, complexity, and market volatility across the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Fulfilment Leadership – Americas
Serve as the executive owner of end-to-end customer fulfilment across the Americas region (United States, Canada, Latin America), with full accountability for service, cost, and operational resilience
Define and deliver regional fulfilment strategy supporting revenue growth, margin improvement, customer experience, and scalability
Own regional performance across OTIF, customer experience, cost to serve, inventory velocity, and network efficiency across all channels and execution models
Is a key member of the Americas leadership team, shaping regional operating priorities and trade off decisions
Regional Operating Model & Market Leadership
Provide executive leadership to Country and Supply Chain leaders, including direct oversight of the United States and strategic influence across the broader region
Establish a single, integrated Americas fulfilment operating model, aligning centralized hubs, local execution teams, and outsourced partners
Set regional governance, decision rights, escalation frameworks, and performance management standards
Lead the organization through both business-as-usual execution and high impact disruptions, ensuring continuity and customer confidence
Executive Ownership of S&OE and IBP
Own the fulfilment and logistics agenda in weekly Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), enabling rapid executive decision making on constraints, risks, and mitigation actions
Serve as the senior fulfilment representative in monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP), influencing demand, supply, and financial alignment
Provide forward looking capacity, network, and service insights to support scenario planning, investment decisions, and growth strategies
Ensure fulfilment implications are fully reflected in executive and financial decision forums
Strategy, Transformation & Value Creation
Define and lead the multiyear Americas fulfilment and logistics strategy, aligned to global supply chain vision and regional growth priorities
Sponsor and govern largescale transformation initiatives including network redesign, automation, digital platforms, and cost to serve optimization
Drive structural improvements in speed to customer, working capital efficiency, and service differentiation
Build a future ready fulfilment ecosystem capable of supporting direct to customer models, omnichannel complexity, and market expansion
Executive Talent Leadership & Organization Design
Build, lead, and inspire a senior leadership team across fulfilment, logistics, order management, spares, refurbishment, and market operations
Set the tone for a high performance, results driven culture with strong accountability and leadership maturity
Own succession planning, leadership development, and organizational capability for the Americas supply chain function
Partner with HR and global leadership on talent strategy and leadership pipeline development
Enterprise Stakeholder Influence
Act as the executive fulfilment counterpart to Americas Commercial, Finance, Digital, and Demand Planning leadership
Ensure fulfilment strategy and readiness are embedded in go to market models, pricing strategies, product launches, and channel decisions
Present performance, risks, and strategic recommendations to regional and global executive leadership
Influence enterprise trade-offs between growth, cost, service, and risk
Strategic Partner & Ecosystem Governance
Own executive level governance of the extended fulfilment ecosystem, including DBS, RMS, and global/regional 3PL partners
Negotiate and oversee strategic contracts, SLAs, and performance frameworks
Drive productivity, quality, and innovation across partners, ensuring alignment to enterprise objectives
Hold partners accountable as an extension of the internal operating model
Experience and Capabilities
Executive Experience & Scope
15-20 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, including senior executive roles with end‑to‑end accountability for customer fulfilment, logistics, and service performance across large, complex regions
Demonstrated experience operating at Vice President or equivalent enterprise level, with responsibility for regional strategy, operating model design, and material cost and service outcomes
Proven track record leading multi‑country or continental supply chain organizations, integrating centralized hubs, regional distribution networks, and market‑level execution
Relevant Industry Background
Experience in consumer‑facing, high‑volume, service‑critical industries that operate at scale with major US retailers, such as:
Consumer Electronics & Technology Hardware
Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Food & Beverage
Industrial, Building Materials, or Home Improvement Suppliers
Apparel, Footwear, or Lifestyle Brands
Medical Devices or Regulated Consumer Products
Background in organizations that serve or partner with large US retail and e‑commerce customers (e.g., Walmart, Target, Amazon, Costco, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Best Buy), with an understanding of:
Retail compliance and routing requirements
Omnichannel fulfilment models (store, DC, drop‑ship, DTC)
Peak management, promotions, and demand volatility
Service‑level penalties, chargebacks, and performance scorecards
Operating Model & Transformation Leadership
Demonstrated success leading integrated hub‑and‑market fulfilment models, balancing central control with local execution and customer proximity
Strong background in network optimization, logistics strategy, and cost‑to‑serve management, including multi‑node distribution, last‑mile delivery, and reverse logistics
Proven sponsor of large‑scale transformation initiatives, including automation, warehouse modernization, digital order management, and analytics‑driven execution
Experience building resilient supply chains capable of operating through disruption, capacity constraints, and rapid demand shifts
Partner & Ecosystem Governance
Deep experience managing strategic service partners and outsourced operations, including 3PLs, transportation providers, and shared‑service centers
Track record of establishing robust governance models, clear SLAs, KPI frameworks, and escalation mechanisms
Demonstrated ability to drive measurable improvements in service, cost, productivity, and quality across extended fulfilment ecosystems
S&OE and IBP Leadership
Demonstrated executive ownership of Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), driving rapid alignment and decision‑making on short‑term risks and constraints
Strong experience contributing to and shaping Integrated Business Planning (IBP) at the executive level, aligning demand, supply, capacity, and financial outcomes
Ability to translate operational realities into clear trade‑offs and recommendations for senior leadership
Leadership & Enterprise Influence
Demonstrated skill in leading teams with strategic vision and strong execution.
Recognized as a strong people and culture leader, with a consistent record of developing senior talent, succession pipelines, and scalable organizational capability
Highly effective cross‑functional leader, able to influence and partner with Commercial, Finance, Planning, Digital, and Operations executives
