Vice President of Government Services

Position Overview:

The Vice President of Government Services will have full commercial responsibility for revenue and profitability for all government channels with primary responsibility in the Veterans Administration segment.

  • Will be responsible for growing, re-defining, developing, and managing all government channels. (Veterans Administration, Department of Defense, state, local, etc.)
  • Hold primary influence over and responsibility for revenue, customer support, marketing and other commercial matters for Government Services.
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and monitor performance to those targets
  • Work with global and local operations, marketing, quality, R&D, product management, and other departments to ensure products and software meet customer needs in the desired timeframes
  • Manage and develop sales leadership team capable of successfully carrying out sales initiatives
  • Strategically manage the placement of products into government contract categories.  Manage the launch cadence of those products
  • Provide leadership and counsel to the sales organization in implementing sales organization objectives that appropriately reflect ReSound’s business goals
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify and drive opportunities for sales process improvement

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate level of related experience desired.

Required Experience:

Minimum 5 years hearing industry experience required.  Detailed hearing aid product and software knowledge required. Minimum 3 years full P&L responsibility, preferred while managing a government channel / program Sales management experience highly desired Extensive experience with ReSound technology preferred.

Travel: 25 – 30%

Pay Transparency Notice: 

Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range from $190,000 to $230,000 /yr.  In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.  Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience.  To remain competitive, GN offers a competitive benefits package, including annual bonuses, health insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off and paid holidays.
