Job Summary
The Red Hat Americas Services Leadership team is looking for a Vice President to lead the North America Commercial Services team. This position is responsible for all Services motions and functions in this geography, including Consulting, Training and Technical Account Management (TAM). This leader will also align its strategies with the North America Commercial geography, ensuring sales, services and customer success motions are well integrated and support the customers of the North America Commercial landscape. The Services function enables Red Hat’s customers to receive maximum value from Red Hat’s products for the needs of their business. This role will closely monitor the execution by the regional teams, and will engage with critical customers directly. This role will align with the Americas and other geo functions to establish consistent KPIs and other metrics in a methodical, consistent approach. This leader, part of the Americas Services Leadership team, will be a critical participant in the transformation towards more strategic customer relationships. This position has a dual reporting structure to the VP, Americas Services and to the VP, North America Commercial Sales whereby this leader will deliver on the Services Americas methodology and goals set by the VP of Services while aligning to the sales opportunities and priorities managed by the VP of North America Commercial Sales.
What you will do:
Execute on Red Hat’s transformative vision to deliver an exceptional customer experience for hybrid cloud, leading to increased adoption of Red Hat technologies, inclusive of our Ecosystem
Collaborate closely with all North America Commercial Sales leaders and align efforts to ensure optimal outcomes for our customers and partners
Establish and execute strategies to ensure Services in North America Commercial are aligned to the Red Hat subscription footprint and growth.
Drive Consulting, Training and Technical Account Management in business across the geography.
Accelerate our focus on Customer-centric Value as we evolve business models from prepaid annual to consumptive models accommodating enterprise commitments empowered by world class Red Hat Services offerings
Collaborate with Americas Services Leader as well as other in-region functional groups, for consistent strategy and execution
Define, manage, and optimize a consistent, proactive, and cross-functionally aligned operating model, leading to consistent customer value realization, by design
Achieve success measure and KPI’s on Services P&L responsibilities and NPS
What you will bring:
10+ years in a leadership/ management role leading high-performance services and delivery teams.
Experience and tenacity to drive transformational change through a large, enterprise organization
Customer service focus, including the ability to deliver multiple priority projects with high customer and partner satisfaction in a rapidly changing environment
Demonstrated ability to lead a distributed, multicultural organization in a global and geo matrix
Proven track record working with Partners on large enterprise sales programs.
Combined background of customer success, services, partner, and sales experience, ideally with a track record in P&L management
Deep financial and operational understanding of value drivers in recurring and transactional revenue business models
Demonstrated ability to teamwork with external partners and ecosystem, developing win-win relationships that keep the best interest of the customer at heart and also help scale the business at the market level
Empathy for customers, partners, and passion for revenue and growth
Analytical and process-oriented mindset
Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written with excellent presentation skills
Bachelor's degree in a technology or any analytical discipline; Graduate degree in management preferred
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
