Job Description:

The Vice President, National Retail will define and lead the overarching strategy, execution, and financial performance for the Home Center channel, reporting directly to the SVP of Residential Sales. This executive-level role carries ultimate accountability for accelerating revenue growth, establishing best-in-class operational standards across national retail partnerships such as those with The Home Depot and Nebraska Furniture Mart, and ensuring the strategic deployment of all business resources and tools across the network.

The ideal candidate is a visionary and experienced executive with deep retail expertise, proven strategic leadership, and a relentless focus on enterprise value and profitable results. This role is based on-site at our Eden Prairie, MN corporate office.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive sales of Cambria by defining and leading the National Retail strategy and operational execution

  • Define, champion, and execute the enterprise National Retail (Home Center) strategy to accelerate revenue growth, maximize market share, and ensure world-class operational excellence.

  • Oversee national retail agreements, reporting requirements, and contractual compliance to protect and expand key partnerships.

  • Support and advance strategic retail initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise Residential Sales objectives.

  • Maintain and evolve retail channel playbooks to provide field teams with clear, current operational direction.

  • Lead reporting and strategic support efforts for major retail partners to ensure consistent performance and growth.

Drive sales of Cambria by optimizing retail sales processes and tools

  • Develop and implement scalable sales operations strategies tailored to the Home Center environment.

  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze retail trends, and provide executive-level insights and recommendations.

  • Ensure seamless integration and adoption of CRM platforms, business tools, and sample management systems across retail partners.

  • Identify inefficiencies in the retail sales cycle and implement process improvements to enhance the in-store customer journey.

Drive sales of Cambria by building strong retail partnerships and accountability

  • Cultivate high-level, executive-level relationships with national retail leaders and key stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and fabricator requirements to maintain operational excellence.

  • Hold internal teams and external partners accountable for performance expectations, service standards, and growth initiatives.

Drive sales of Cambria by developing talent and cross-functional alignment

  • Provide executive leadership, mentorship, and development for the entire operational sales and support teams dedicated to the retail channel, cultivating a high-performance, results-driven culture.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Logistics, Production, and Finance to ensure retail channel objectives are aligned and executed effectively.

Drive sales of Cambria by managing financial performance

  • Hold ultimate financial accountability for National Retail P&L, overseeing all budgets associated with sales operations and strategic marketing initiatives.

  • Analyze financial results, identify margin improvement opportunities, and optimize resource allocation within the channel.

  • Ensure disciplined investment strategies that support sustainable, profitable growth.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Strong business knowledge and financial acumen

  • Proven track record of sales and being customer-focused

  • Ability to build strong professional relationships with internal and external parties

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Strong influencing skills and experience to gain support and inspire others

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience: 10+ Years Experience in A&D Industry Sales Required

Systems: Customer Relationship Management and Data Mining tool use and exposure, Google Suites, Microsoft Office and Salesforce

Additional Requirements

Managerial Requirements: Potential of 2-5 Direct Reports 

Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally / sparingly (office supplies, packages, samples). May need to bend, reach, walk, or stoop occasionally. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Travel Requirements: Up to 50% regional travel to customers which may include overnight and weekends. Including 10% is to trade shows, associations, and training. Must have the ability to travel and work extended hours, evenings, overnights and weekends. 

Cambria’s starting salary range for this position is $160,000 - $190,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
