Position Summary...

The Vice President of Member Growth for Walmart+ is responsible for setting the strategy and vision for membership growth and leading execution across acquisition, retention, and benefit development. This leader will drive expansion of the Walmart+ program through innovative growth strategies, strong partnerships, and differentiated member experiences that align with our vision to be America’s most essential membership.

  • Developing and executing the end-to-end member growth strategy.
  • Identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships (1P and 3P) to expand member benefits and enhance value.
  • Creating differentiated value propositions that strengthen Walmart+’s competitive positioning.
  • Negotiating and managing partner contracts and developing new frameworks for partner engagement.
  • Collaborating across functions to advocate for and launch new Walmart+ benefits that drive member engagement and retention.
  • Strategic Vision: Set the strategic direction for Walmart+ member growth—defining long-term plans, identifying new growth opportunities, and delivering measurable results. Develop differentiated value propositions and partnership opportunities, both internal and external, to expand the reach and relevance of the membership program.
  • Internal Collaboration: Influence and partner with senior leaders across Walmart to advocate for member growth initiatives. Serve as the internal champion for Walmart+, aligning cross-functional teams around shared goals for membership expansion and engagement.
  • Drive Member Growth: Establish new growth channels through experimentation, partnerships, and collaboration with marketing. Leverage data and insights to drive acquisition, conversion, and retention. Evaluate program design, optimize member communication, and strengthen member-brand connection through personalized experiences.
  • Team Alignment to Drive the Vision: Lead a high-performing organization by setting clear priorities, aligning resources, and fostering innovation. Identify emerging trends and ensure Walmart+ delivers an omnichannel experience that reflects member needs and market dynamics. Organize and mobilize teams around the “big rocks” that drive quarterly and annual results.
  • Talent Development: Build and nurture a strong, diverse leadership team. Identify and retain top talent, provide developmental opportunities, and proactively address capability gaps to ensure the function is equipped to deliver on our membership vision.

The annual salary range for this position is $225,000.00 - $500,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
