Summary
Oaktree is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Investment and Trading Technology (ITT) group. The ideal candidate will play a hands-on role to architect, design and modernize the technology systems that we rely on every day, as well as build and manage these systems to solve business issues effectively. Oaktree is on a multi-year journey to enhance our technology landscape by adopting modern tools and leveraging modern hosting solutions such as the public clouds. This job will directly impact how the ITT development community creates software that enhance our business outcome. The ideal candidate will know several software development languages and be able to translate abstract concepts to technical outcomes. The candidate will develop effective and productive working relationships with peer technologists, analysts and key business stakeholders including Investment Professionals, Trade Support, and like groups, to effect change and drive successful outcomes via an Agile/DevOps delivery model. Creating leverage through effective leadership of offshore resources will be key to our success. The candidate will be hands-on 90+% of the time.
