Position Summary

The Vice President of Upfit Supply Chain serves as the enterprise leader responsible for end-to-end operational and financial performance across Supply Chain, Aftermarket Operations, and Engineering Governance within Holman Upfit.

This role owns the strategic design, financial stewardship, and execution of forecasting, procurement, inventory management, scheduling, service operations, parts commercialization, driveaway logistics, warranty monetization, and engineering workflow governance.

The Vice President operates as a core member of the Upfit executive leadership team and directly influences more than $400M in revenue,  and $30 in SG&A.

This position carries full P&L accountability across assigned functions and serves as the primary architect of scalable infrastructure supporting growth, margin expansion, working capital discipline, and enterprise integration.

Enterprise Scope of Responsibility

Strategic Supply Chain & Working Capital Ownership

  • Establish and govern enterprise supply chain strategy across purchasing, forecasting, inventory control, supplier performance, and scheduling.
  • Own working strategy including inventory segmentation, excess and obsolete mitigation, and supplier lead-time risk controls.

Aftermarket Commercialization & Monetization

  • Own revenue growth and margin expansion across Parts, Driveaway, Extended Warranty, and Service operations.
  • Transition warranty management from cost containment function to revenue and recovery engine.
  • Develop and implement structured pricing governance and commercial discipline models.
  • Direct aftermarket business case development including field service strategy and market expansion initiatives.

Engineering Governance & Margin Protection

  • Establish performance governance across Design & Engineering to protect pricing integrity and reduce margin leakage.
  • Institutionalize intake, prioritization, and workflow management through enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce Service Cloud).
  • Ensure manufacturability alignment between engineering deliverables and operational capabilities.

Enterprise Systems & Process Modernization

  • Lead cross-functional system alignment between ERP, Service Cloud, scheduling platforms, and financial reporting infrastructure.
  • Replace informal processes with measurable, KPI-driven operating frameworks.
  • Sponsor automation and technology initiatives that improve scalability and data transparency.

Executive Financial Stewardship

  • Directly accountable for functional P&L performance and operating budget adherence.
  • Approve capital prioritization within scope.
  • Translate operational metrics into financial outcomes for executive reporting.
  • Present periodic performance updates to executive leadership.

Organizational Leadership & Succession Planning

  • Direct leadership of 2–3 Director-level roles and indirect oversight of 130–175 employees.
  • Establish leadership bench strength, succession pipelines, and performance management discipline.
  • Drive executive-level accountability standards across multiple operational functions.

Strategic Impact Profile

This role operates at a division-level leadership scope with direct impact across revenue performance, margin protection, working capital optimization, commercial growth enablement, customer SLA performance, engineering output governance, and system modernization and scalability.

The Vice President functions as the operational bridge between Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, IT, and Client Services — ensuring enterprise alignment and protecting Holman’s value proposition.

Problem Solving & Decision Complexity

The majority of challenges encountered are unique and enterprise-impacting, requiring strategic tradeoff decisions balancing revenue, margin, and cash, cross-functional conflict resolution, supplier and OEM risk mitigation, complex client supply chain redesign, and financially material escalation management.

Approximately 60% of decisions involve ambiguous conditions with no predefined solution set.

Executive-Level Decision Rights

  • Establish enterprise supply chain and aftermarket strategy within division scope
  • Approve pricing standards and compliance models
  • Authorize budget allocation and resource prioritization within approved financial plan
  • Design organizational structure and succession planning frameworks
  • Resolve client escalations with material financial exposure

Experience Profile Required for Role Scope

  • Prior ownership of multi-function operational P&L
  • Demonstrated success driving margin expansion and working capital improvement simultaneously

Regular Full-Time

Temporary or Part-Time

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $275,430.00 - $426,915.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
