About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President – Fixed Income Securities Sales Specialist to support U.S. and APAC client coverage within Markets. This role partners closely with Fixed Income Sales and Trading to drive client engagement, support revenue generation, and execute sales strategies across Fixed Income products, while ensuring activities are conducted in accordance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.


In this role, you will:

  • Partner with Fixed Income Sales and Trading to support client coverage strategies and drive revenue‑generating activity across U.S. and APAC regions
  • Act as a senior sales specialist supporting client engagement, trade idea delivery, and execution across Fixed Income products
  • Maintain active dialogue with clients and internal coverage teams to support trading flow, market color, and timely idea distribution
  • Collaborate with Fixed Income Trading desks to align client interests with market opportunities, axes, liquidity, and risk positioning
  • Support sales activity across Fixed Income asset classes, including rates, credit, Munis and Structured Products, as applicable
  • Support complex client activity, including onboarding, account structuring, and expansion of Fixed Income product usage
  • Coordinate cross‑regional Fixed Income sales activity and client execution across time zones
  • Identify client needs, market trends, and sales opportunities to enhance client penetration and wallet share within Fixed Income
  • Lead complex initiatives supporting Fixed Income sales growth, client coverage effectiveness, and regional alignment
  • Make decisions in complex and multi‑faceted situations requiring a sound understanding of Fixed Income sales, client coverage, and compliance requirements
  • Execute and maintain first‑line sales controls and governance activities related to Fixed Income sales activity, including issue identification and escalation
  • Support audit, compliance, and regulatory requests related to Fixed Income sales
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, Trading, Product, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to resolve issues and achieve business objectives


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Securities Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Fluency in English required
  • Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese required to support communication with APAC Fixed Income clients and stakeholders


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products, markets, and sales workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to support revenue‑driving Fixed Income sales activity and complex client interactions
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


Job Expectations:

  • Registration for FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
