Position Summary
Travere is seeking a visionary and strategic technology leader to advance our digital innovation agenda and help shape the future of the enterprise. The Vice President, Enterprise Technology and Solutions (ETS), will play a pivotal role in evolving and elevating Travere’s technology capabilities into a forward-looking, business-aligned, and product-oriented organization.
This role partners closely with executive leadership and business stakeholders to enable growth, operational excellence, and innovation through technology. The Vice President, ETS will guide the organization’s continued evolution from a primarily service-delivery–oriented model to a business partnership and product operating model, ensuring technology investments are clearly aligned to business outcomes, value creation, and long-term enterprise strategy.
As a member of the leadership team within the Digital Innovation and Strategy organization, this role is critical to helping Travere scale effectively, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and deliver on its long-term vision in service of patients.
Key Responsibilities
Transformation and Business Partnership
Define and execute a multi-year technology evolution roadmap that advances ETS to a proactive, strategic, and trusted business partner across Commercialization, R&D, and G&A.
Establish ETS as a value-driven organization focused on measurable business outcomes, enhanced customer and employee experiences, and product-based delivery.
Partner with executive leadership to translate enterprise and functional strategies into a cohesive, integrated technology and digital roadmap.
Evolve IT governance, funding, and prioritization models to support product-centric planning, investment, and decision-making.
Build deep, trust-based relationships across the organization, serving as a thought partner, advisor, and catalyst for change.
Implement and scale a product operating model, including clear product ownership, roadmaps, technology lifecycle management, and outcome-based metrics.
Champion a shift toward products, platforms, and enduring enterprise capabilities.
Ensure technology solutions are designed with end-users, business value, and patient impact at the center.
Technology and Infrastructure Leadership
Own and shape enterprise technology strategy across applications, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity.
Lead transformation of core systems and platforms, balancing innovation with stability, security, compliance, and scalability.
Ensure technology architectures are secure, resilient, and adaptable, supporting both current operations and future growth.
Oversee vendor strategy, sourcing, and partnerships to maximize value, performance, and innovation.
Establish reliable, secure, and compliant technology operations while continuously improving efficiency and service quality.
Strengthen enterprise cybersecurity, data privacy, and risk management capabilities.
Define and track KPIs that clearly demonstrate technology’s impact on business performance and outcomes.
Organizational Leadership
Build, lead, and inspire high performing, engaged technology teams.
Foster a culture of accountability, agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement, embedded within integrated business teams.
Develop talent and succession plans, introducing new roles and capabilities aligned with the product and business-partner operating model.
Establish clear operating models, decision rights, and performance expectations that enable teams to perform at a high level.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor degree required. Advanced degree strongly preferred. Equitable combination of skills and experience are also considered.
15 years' experience within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare organization.
3-5 years’ experience leading in a fully integrated digital/technology product centric model.
Prior demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing tech teams across infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity
Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements through legacy system transformation
Experience supporting GxP-regulated environments and validated systems
Experience leading governance and performance management across global MSPs, systems integrators, and strategic outsourcing partners.
Has partnered successfully cross-functionally to align technology investment strategy with enterprise financial planning and disciplined budget governance.
Previously drove enterprise-wide technology transformations, evolving IT from a traditional service-delivery model to a strategic, product-oriented operating framework within life sciences environments.
Proven ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional business teams.

Must be willing to travel to corporate headquarters or other locations as needed if not located in San Diego. No position is to be considered fully remote.
Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Compensation: Our competitive compensation package includes a combination of both cash compensation (base pay and short-term incentive) and long-term incentive compensation (company stock), designed to recognize, retain, and reward employees.
Target Base Pay Range:
$285,000.00 - $385,000.00*This information is current as of the date of this posting and may be modified in the future. Actual pay offered to a candidate will depend on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and location.
