In this position you will be supporting our doctors and technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients while having the support and resources to push your career forward. We are looking for a person who enjoys veterinary medicine and is interested in coming onto a team full of longevity and experience. We are located a short distance from Shrewsbury, PA and right off of I83, making the commute to the hospital an easy one. Why We Want You!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a strong understanding of veterinary medicine. Responsibilities include providing medical care to animals, performing laboratory tests, assisting in surgery, administering medications, and assisting veterinarians with diagnosing and treating patients. The successful candidate must also be able to communicate effectively with pet owners and have excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and vaccinations to animals.
• Providing nursing care including phlebotomy, radiology, and injection administration.
• Assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals.
• Maintain medical records and filing systems.
• Assist in the preparation of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist in surgical patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery
• Educate clients on proper animal care and nutrition.
• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Required)

• Glen Rock, PA 17327: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
