About St Clair Vets
St Clair Vets is a thriving, RCVS‑accredited small animal practice with a big community heart and clinical ambition to match. With two busy branches and an in‑house ophthalmology referral team at Vet Vision, our caseload is wonderfully varied—and you’ll always have access to specialist support right on your doorstep. We also work closely with VSS for additional CPD and complex case advice, giving you fantastic opportunities to learn and grow.
What really sets us apart is our culture. Every voice matters here. We’re committed to creating a workplace where you feel supported, valued and genuinely listened to. We love discussing cases together, holding monthly clinical meetings, sharing ideas and continuously improving the way we work.
As a nurse training practice with a well‑established new graduate programme, development is woven into everything we do. Whether you’re excited about mentoring or keen to build those skills, you’ll have a brilliant environment to learn in—and a team who genuinely enjoys helping each other succeed.
A Great Place to Live & Work
We’re lucky to be based in beautiful Fife, giving you the perfect mix of work‑life balance and adventure. With quick links to Edinburgh, stunning beaches, rolling countryside, the Cairngorms for weekends away, great schools and easy transport connections, it’s an ideal place to live, work and explore.
And as a team, we love making the most of it! From taking part in community events like Race for Life, to bake‑offs, Easter egg hunts, Munro‑climbing days out and our legendary annual Christmas party, there’s always something fun on the calendar. You’ll be joining a team that enjoys spending time together both inside and outside the practice.
St Clair Vets is part of Linnaeus and Mars Veterinary Health, the largest family-owned veterinary company in the world. Being privately owned, we can truly be driven by our purpose, to create a better world, and think long-term as opposed to being focused solely on short-term profits.
At Linnaeus, A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS starts with a better world for our people. Our Associates are over 6000 strong and empowered to speak up, step up and deliver quality services. You’ll have access to a huge network of specialists, worldwide development opportunities and an easily accessible, comprehensive wellbeing package that prioritises your physical and mental health, allowing you to focus on what you do best – care for pets.
We are committed to fostering a culture that is inclusive and diverse, we care about you and want you to be authentic, with everything you need to perform at your best. We are all individual but two important things bring us together: a commitment to excellence and our passion to achieve our purpose.
