Veterinary Assistant

VCA Tri County Animal Hospital is hiring a full time Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team

About Us

We are a 4-doctor full service veterinary hospital offering primary care, illness care, surgery and dentistry located in Fort Pierce, FL.  We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7am – 6pm, Tuesday and Thursday 7am – 8pm, and Saturdays 8am – 4pm.

Compensation: $15 - $20 / hr based on experience and skill set.

Schedule: Weekend rotation required.

Technician Duties will include:

• Anesthesia monitoring
• Collecting patient histories & physical exams
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands-Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients
• You will be supporting our team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
