Why us, why now?

Reporting directly to the Manager, Business Operations, the Associate position plays a key role in advancing the AMCAS unit through the consistent review and validation of high-stakes application data. Associates handle complex cases, ensure compliance with established procedures, and escalate issues requiring further review. In addition to high-stake application processing, this role provides operational support and contributes to training, knowledge sharing, and process improvement to maintain efficiency. By ensuring data integrity and supporting continuous improvement, this position strengthens departmental performance and directly advances strategic initiatives.   

How will you make an impact?

Application Processing:

  • Perform in-depth evaluation of applicant information contained in application against various types of supporting documentation. 
  • Maintain production totals and schedules under rigorous deadlines. 
  • Research and resolve inquiries related to the application process.  
  • Safeguard applicant information by maintaining confidentiality and information security protocols. 
  • Meet weekly with team lead staff to review quality reports 
  • Conduct a review of daily processed applications audited.  
  • Meet with team lead to review quality reports and discuss performance trends. 

Training:

  • Collaborate with team leads and senior associates to create and update, and enhance training material and content for each application cycle 
  • Conduct quality audits of new hires’ application processing work, reviewing questions and performance, and provide constructive feedback to team lead staff to support development and ensure compliance with departmental standards 
  • Partner with the manager and team lead associates to plan, develop, and deliver lesson plans, job aids, and training resources required for document processing. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, recommending improvements to strengthen learning outcomes and overall team productivity. 

 

Subject Matter Expert:

  •   Maintain expert level knowledge of AMCAS policies and procedures.

What will you bring to the role?

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma  (Associates Degree preferred)
  • 1 - 2 years of related work experience
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume, detail-oriented processing environment.  
  • Experience working with customer service platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and data management systems.  
  • Familiarity with AMCAS policies and procedures is strongly preferred.  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. 

 

Remote Work Eligibility

This position is eligible for remote work in the contiguous US

Compensation Grade Range

$47,005.00-$55,300.00

Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors may include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations.

If a bachelor’s degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions.  One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
