Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Debugs and validates software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.

Develops, modifies, and executes automated scripts/testcases and tools for testing.

Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.

Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

Participate in testing guild.

Participate in software product release procedure.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand how the product works and test that it functions correctly (aka "be tough on the product using simulators").
• Evaluate which scenario is suitable for automation (Python) and expand the regression suite accordingly (seniors will assist).
• Code reviews for colleagues (and from colleagues).
• (When needed) Program a part of the Python framework (e.g., a simulator for a network protocol/component).
• Participation in release procedure.

Job Requirements

• Linux and k8s
• Python (pytest is advantage), scripting, Jenkins
• Telco and 5GC domain knowledge
• Networking/comunication protocols, wireshark
• Experience in SW testing of backends
• Agile
